FMAP Season 4 (Pan-African Edition) is Here!

The FirstBank Management Associate Programme (FMAP) is a 24-Month programme open to both internal and external candidates who demonstrate acute thinking, financial, methodical, and distinctive skills to communicate effectively and synthesize ideas.

FMAP is one of the Bank’s aspirational programmes targeted at young, dynamic, self-motivated, and highly driven individuals who are desirous to be part of the next generation of leaders in the Bank. The Programme was designed as a deliberate process to infuse youthfulness and fresh perspectives into the middle and next generation of senior management staff who will support the realization of the Bank’s vision to be Africa’s Bank of First Choice.

Upon completion of the programme, successful delegates will be promoted to Assistant Manager grade irrespective of their grade at the point of selection.

Considering that this is a Pan-African Programme, it is targeted at individuals across the various Sub-Saharan African locations where the Bank has its footprints. These locations include:

• Nigeria
• Ghana
• Gambia
• Guinea
• DRC
• Senegal
• Seirra Leone

To qualify for this programme, applicants must have the following:

Candidates must be between BA – SBO grade.

Minimum first-degree qualification required:

• Nigeria – A minimum of second-class upper division in any discipline from a reputable university
• Ghana – A minimum of second-class upper division in any discipline from a reputable university
• Gambia – A minimum of Magna Cum Laude in any discipline from a reputable university
• DRC – A minimum of Distinction Excellence or 75% in any discipline from a reputable university
• Guinea – A minimum of Bien in any discipline from a reputable university
• Senegal – A minimum of Bien in any discipline from a reputable university
• Seirra Leone – A minimum of second class upper (2.1 honors) in any discipline from a reputable university

Possession of a post-graduate degree (minimum Masters degree) from a reputable university; or relevant professional certification(s) such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA and ACIB.

• Maximum age limit of 30 years.
• Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a structured organization.
• Proficiency in English
