Forwarding Officer

CCIS (CMA CGM Inland Services) is a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, dedicated to the development of land transport solutions.

Mission

Under the authority of the Transit Manager, the main task of the Field Transit Export Agent is to collect all the documentation from the trucks coming to us from Mali at TCD level, to carry out the export formalities under the responsibility of Business Transit in compliance with the CC TCD procedures in force.

Responsibilities

  • Open export files
  • Create bookings and BL in e-commerce
  • Complete customs and DP World formalities
  • Submitting pre-negotiation documents to the TCD
  • Tracking export containers in WINSPOT
  • Creation of files in GDC and breakdowns
  • Send export statistics at the end of each month
  • Confirm container shipment and follow-up for customers
  • Anticipate formalities to avoid Lars costs
  • Respect loading deadlines
  • Regularly monitor loads and customers.
  • Attend weekly Transit coordination meetings.

Profile & skills

  • Holder of a higher diploma in Transit, Customs Declaration or equivalent, you are comfortable working in
  • French both orally and in writing and you have knowledge of English.
  • Good command of IT, office automation and GDC tools.
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Team spirit
